Supporting Top Genetics at 2025 Spring Show & Sale Events

Irish Hereford Prime was proud to support five major Hereford Show & Sale events this spring, continuing our commitment to encouraging the use of high-quality genetics in Irish herds. Through our sponsorship initiative, we offered financial incentives to buyers investing in premium bulls, reinforcing our dedication to long-term genetic improvement across the breed.

Here’s a look at each event:

Tullamore Premier Show & Sale – Saturday 22nd March
Irish Hereford Prime kicked off the season at the prestigious Premier Hereford Spring Show & Sale in Tullamore. To promote investment in elite breeding stock, we offered a €300 voucher to purchasers of bulls selling for €4,000 or more. It was a strong showcase of outstanding genetics and we extend our congratulations to all buyers and sellers involved.

Nenagh Show & Sale – Thursday 3rd April
At the first of two spring events in Nenagh we continued our support by sponsoring all bulls sold for €3,500 or more. Successful buyers were rewarded with a €200 voucher, once again helping to promote the purchase of top-tier bulls. Our thanks to all who took part in what proved to be a competitive and high-quality sale.

Bandon Show & Sale – Wednesday 16th April
Bandon hosted a strong lineup of Hereford bulls in mid-April, with Irish Hereford Prime providing €200 to purchasers of bulls reaching €3,500 or more. We’re delighted to see this incentive continuing to support the selection of quality genetics in the region and commend all breeders for a successful event.

Kilmallock Show & Sale – Friday 25th April
In GVM Kilmallock, we were once again pleased to back the Hereford Show & Sale. The €200 incentive for bulls sold over €3,500 was in place to reward buyers focused on long-term breeding performance. Well done to all sellers who presented such a high standard of bulls on the day.

Nenagh Show & Sale – Thursday 15th May
Returning to Nenagh for the second time this season, 33 exceptional Hereford bulls were on offer at Central Auctions. Irish Hereford Prime was proud to sponsor €200 for each bull sold at €3,500 or more, helping buyers secure premium genetics and ensuring the success of yet another standout event.
