The 17th European Hereford Conference 6th-11th August 2026
The 17th European Hereford Conference, hosted by the Irish Hereford Breed Society, will take place in Kilkenny from August 6th–11th. The event will bring together Hereford breeders and industry representatives from across Europe and beyond to discuss breed development, share knowledge and explore the future of Hereford cattle within modern beef production.
Following previous conferences held in France and the United States, the event provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration within the global Hereford community. Delegates will enjoy a varied programme including farm visits, judging at the National Livestock Show in Tullamore, industry discussions and a gala dinner celebrating the heritage and success of the Hereford breed.
Irish Hereford Prime is looking forward to welcoming delegates to Ireland and playing a key role in showcasing the country’s renowned Hereford production systems, rich farming heritage and the breed’s premium beef credentials to an international audience.
