Serving a range of different menus in their Aileen restaurant and Ocean bar, the hotel is famous for its delicious Sunday roast which includes Irish Hereford Prime, 28-day dry aged roast beef, its seasonal dishes such as vegetable soup made with produce grown in the hotel’s own farm and its locally caught seafood.

Sustainability is woven into every aspect of the Armada Hotel. As the first hotel in Ireland to achieve B Corporation Certification, and one of only three in the country to hold this prestigious accreditation, Armada has been recognised for its commitment to balancing commercial success with social and environmental responsibility.

What could you not like about it? It’s absolutely fabulous.

Head Chef Alan Cullen has been serving Irish Hereford Beef at the Armada Hotel for the past ten years. He chooses it because it is locally sourced and he knows that the animals have been reared and cared for to the highest standards. He points to the quality of Irish Hereford Prime beef, with its great texture, perfect marbling and delicious flavour as the reason his customers ask for it time and time again.

There’s never a complaint, we’ve been using Irish Hereford Prime beef for ten years and there has never been an issue.

The Armada Hotel hosts approximately 130 weddings a year, catering for between 150 to 200 guests. Alan explains that much of their business comes from word of mouth, as happy guests share their experience, so it is vital to have a reliable and consistent product like Irish Hereford Prime, that you know people will like.

In the ten years of serving Irish Hereford Prime beef, we’ve never had a single complaint, it always delivers the quality and consistency, that we need.
